Sunday Times dubs Hall & Partners ‘64th best small firm to work for'

“To be in the top 100 is fantastic” and “inspiring” says only market research agency to be included on the UK list

Hall & Partners ( H&P ) was voted the 64th best small company in Britain to work for this year by national newspaper the Sunday Times at a awards dinner in London last night.

Lindsey Troy, research director for research, told Research: “We were the only market research agency on the list and we're really happy to just be there. To be in the top 100 is fantastic and it is inspiring to be among such a prestigious list.”

The survey, conducted on behalf of the Sunday Times by workplace engagement research firm Best Companies, is based upon staff attitude surveys from companies participating in the research.

It used 70 questions such as how they feel about their pay, managers, colleagues, work-life balance, training and future prospects, and the firm's values and principles.

H&P said it has introduced a number of initiatives, mostly all introduced by staff. These include Monthly ‘star sign' tea parties, where employees have a chance to chat with the firm's CEO for Europe, Vanella Jackson, about what's going well and could be improved.

Jackson said: “I think we've done so well because we've created an environment where people feel anything is possible and everyone takes personal responsibility for making things happen.”

The full list will be published in the Sunday Times on the 4th March.
