SurveyMonkey launches ChatGPT plugin

The plugin will also allow users to create surveys in natural language and analyse responses within a conversation on ChatGPT.
Users can also use past surveys and combine data with external sources in ChatGPT using the plugin, which uses the model context protocol standard to allow ChatGPT to access and interact with SurveyMonkey data.
SurveyMonkey previously launched a connection with fellow generative AI model Claude in May 2026.
Eric Johnson, chief executive at SurveyMonkey, said: “Most teams are already using ChatGPT as a thought partner. They’re writing briefs, analysing data, and planning strategy.
“Better decisions still require input from real people. We all need to listen to our customers and our employees. With the SurveyMonkey plugin in ChatGPT, teams can collect that feedback and use it without interrupting the way they already work.”
