SurveyMonkey adds HR features

US – Survey business SurveyMonkey has released integrations for human resource information systems (HRIS) that aim to connect employee feedback with workforce data.

The integrations, which were built by Merge, are built to help HR teams spot changes in engagement and potential turnover risk without having to manually analyse survey data.

SurveyMonkey said that the integrations, which include HR software provider BambooHR, would also seek to keep pace with systems used by customers.

The integrations sync workforce data from supported HRIS platforms every 24 hours, and aims to keep survey audiences up to date with changes in employee information.

Other features include comparing responses across department, location, job title and tenure, as well as checking where employee engagement is falling.

Becky Cantieri, chief people officer at SurveyMonkey, said: “HR teams shouldn’t wait until someone leaves to understand what wasn’t working.

“Automatically connecting workforce data with employee feedback gives HR teams a current view of what’s happening across the organisation, so they can see where engagement is slipping, challenges exist, or which teams might need more support. These insights give leaders a chance to step in before good people decide to leave.”
