UK— STRC Research has launched a new panel of Middle East-based millionaires which it plans to offer as a research resource to luxury goods brands.
The face-to-face panel is made up of 150 dollar-millionaires across the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman.
Regional director Saber Khan said: “I have had considerable exposure to work on luxury brands and the very high net-worth Middle Eastern consumers, and with an estimated 68,000 millionaires in the UAE alone, the need for insights from this segment is very much of value – so we have responded accordingly.”
As far as incentives for panel members, Khan told Research: “Paying a traditional financial incentive does not work with this segment, but what does is tokens of appreciation in the form of boxed ‘luxury’ chocolates. However, the main motivation is one of being asked to participate in something that is exclusive and has other peers on board.”
