The MRS Awards takes place annually to recognise the impact of investment in research on both business and society. This year’s ceremony, hosted by comedian Aurie Styla, was held at Old Billingsgate, London.
Jane Frost CBE, chief executive of MRS, said: “It’s been a challenging year but one in which the research and insight sector has continued to show its adaptability, resilience and impact. It’s difficult to remember a time when truth and evidence was under so much attack and the fact that we continue to grow as a sector is testament to the marvellous talent, ingenuity and creativity in the teams and individuals which make research what it is today.
“We’re under no illusions that the obstacles we’ve faced this year will peter out, but as we prepare to celebrate MRS’ 80th anniversary next year, this year’s awards shortlists and winners give me every confidence that we will continue to raise the bar.”
