Accenture invests in AI research company

Led by Accenture Ventures, the investment will incorporate Wevo’s capabilities within Accenture Song’s generative AI-based platform GrowthOS.
Wevo’s platform allows teams to test value propositions and product experiences with synthetic personas and people, using generative AI to access behavioural insights.
The company was founded in 2017 and works with brands on their product development, digital experiences and marketing strategies. It is based in Boston, Massachusetts.
Wevo joins Accenture Ventures’ Project Spotlight, which gives enterprise technology companies access to Accenture’s domain expertise and global client base. The terms of the investment were not disclosed.
Businesses within Accenture Song, the company’s creative group, include London-based marketing group Unlimited, Bulgarian customer experience analytics company GemSeek and Sydney-headquartered market research agency Fiftyfive5.
Earlier this year, Accenture said it would bring five of its divisions, including Accenture Song, into one business unit, as it looks to embed AI more quickly.
Sean Lyons, global growth strategy lead, Accenture Song, said adding Wevo to its platform would mean “clients can move from concept to customer validation faster than ever”.
