Simpson Carpenter launches text data analytics service
Klondike has been developed by Simpson Carpenter’s team of data scientists, led by its director of Advanced Analytics, Frank Hedler. It uses natural language processing (NLP) algorithms to analyse online and offline text data.
“The surge in big data and the ever growing amount of user-generated content presents businesses with huge quantities of potentially-valuable text data which they have no idea how to use – so they frequently end up not using it at all,” said Hedler.
“Klondike is a response to a genuine and growing need; it analyses all data — online and offline — from traditional surveys to forums, blogs or even inbound email, bringing together text data with standard demographics and metrics.”
