Rep Data integrates sampling into research platform

The move will mean that researchers can use one platform to design a study, define and source their audience and launch into the field.
Rep Data acquired SightX earlier this year to combine its platform, which includes methodologies such as MaxDiff and conjoint, with Rep Data’s response quality infrastructure.
Research Desk is the company’s do-it-yourself sampling platform, offering centralised access to a supply network.
Rep Data has made several acquisitions recently. In addition to the SightX deal, this year the company has also bought data quality tool provider ReDem and research programming and operations agency OWL Solutions. The acquisitions follow the company securing private equity investment from Mountaingate Capital last year.
Patrick Stokes, founder and chief executive of Rep Data, said the company had technology to address different parts of the research process, and that “the bigger opportunity is what happens when those capabilities work together”.
