Ipsos reaffirms strategic plans under Kelly Beaver

GLOBAL – Ipsos has doubled down on its strategic ‘Horizons’ plan following the appointment of Kelly Beaver as the company’s global leader in July.

Speaking during a presentation to investors yesterday ( 14th September), Beaver said accelerating execution of the company’s six-point strategic plan, announced by former chief executive Jean Laurent Poitou at the start of 2026, was “imperative”.

Doubling down on the company’s access to real people, alongside accelerating its use of AI, is a critical part of the strategy, Beaver said. The company is also looking to expand into adjacent industries such as data integration and analytics.

Beaver said she had been working with leadership teams since her appointment to ensure the company has clear 26-week operational plans in place for each of its strategic aims.

Speed is increasingly important for clients, said Beaver, as she said the company has a committed to delivering a large proportion of its services within a 48-hour period.

The company is planning a series of new products focused on speed of execution – one of which, InnoTest, will help clients identify successful ideas and concepts using synthetic respondents. In another change due in the next 12 weeks, the company’s social listening platform Ipsos Synthesio will add AI visibility, with the aim of helping brands to track how they appear on LLM models.

Kelly Beaver, chief executive officer at Ipsos, said: “More than ever, our clients need reliable and timely information to understand their markets and make the right decisions. This represents a structural opportunity for Ipsos. Horizons is the right strategy. Our priority now is to accelerate its execution and translate it into results more quickly, particularly as our performance since the beginning of the year has fallen short of our ambitions.

“I am confident in our ability to deliver because we have unique strengths: talented and highly engaged teams, a global presence, deep multi-specialist expertise, access to high quality data, and strong capabilities in technology and artificial intelligence.”

Beaver also announced that the company has appointed Cynthia Vega as global lead of AI solutions and client engagement. Vega was most recently at Kantar and prior to that was at Nielsen. Vega will take up her role at the end of November.

Revenue for Ipsos was up 1.1% year-to-date on an organic basis as of 31st August, according to chief financial officer Olivier Champourlier, who said during the presentation that commercial activity had remained ‘positive and stable’ during the past two summer months.

The company’s third-quarter financial results will be published on 23rd October.
