PetaSight acquires Babbage Insight

Through the move, Delaware-headquartered PetaSight is looking to extend its operating system for life sciences and bolster its AI-based insights.
Babbage Insight develops algorithms and systems for insight generation from structured business data.
Integrating Babbage’s technology will add an “intelligence layer” to Peta Insight’s governance platform, said Peta Insight chief executive Sandeep Sankhla.
The deal will mean life sciences can access one software environment that includes agentic workflows and deterministic validation – meaning it uses algorithms to test and prioritise signals within complex data.
Manu Bhardwaj, chief operating officer, Babbage Insight. "PetaSight brings the governed workflow and evidence trails; Babbage adds a deterministic validation layer designed to test and explain signals.”
The financial terms of the acquisition are not disclosed.
