Ex-Kantar Profiles CEO joins Strat7 as non-exec director

UK – Data and insight group Strat7 has appointed former Kantar Profiles global chief executive officer Caroline Frankum as a non-executive director.

Frankum (pictured) will advise the Strat7 board on the next stage of the company’s growth, with a particular focus on data, AI and technology.

Prior taking up her new role, Frankum spent eight years at Kantar before departing last year.

Before Kantar, Frankum was Europe, Middle East and Africa chief executive at Hall & Partners and has previously held senior roles at Sky, UKTV and Disney.

Strat7 is headquartered in London, with offices in Amsterdam, Burgas, Leeds, New York, Sofia and Sydney.

Barrie Brien, chief executive at Strat7, said: “Caroline has spent her career using data and technology to transform businesses at a global scale, while keeping human expertise at the heart of that change.

“She has already helped us sharpen our data strategy and challenged us on where the biggest opportunities lie. She also brings deep commercial experience and an understanding of what global clients need as we continue to develop our offer. With AI changing our industry so quickly, having that experience at board level will be hugely valuable.”

Frankum added that having worked with Strat7 on the data strategy, “there is real potential to bring those strengths together for clients, and I’m looking forward to helping the board make the most of it”.
