The latest appointments and promotions in the global market research industry. Today: Comscore, Fox Searchlight, Merkle and more.

Web audience researcher ComScore has appointed Anne Hunter as vice president of advertising effectiveness products and Daryl McNutt as vice president of media marketing solutions. Hunter was previously vice president of strategic insights at AOL, while McNutt was vice president of client services for Specific Media.

Aspen Marketing Services has appointed Nathaniel Lin as president of advanced analytics. Lin was most recently an adjunct professor at Boston College’s Carroll School of Management. He has also worked at Fidelity Investments, OgilvyOne and IBM.

MedeConnect Healthcare Insight, the market research division of Doctors.net.uk, has appointed two client services directors: Nicky Richards and Neil Reynolds. Richards was previously commercial director of Cegedim Strategic Data, while Reynolds was a research director at MedeConnect.

Web audience measurement firm Ando Media has appointed Mark Rosenthal and Paul Liberman to its executive team. Rosenthal joins as director of product sales and marketing, while Liberman becomes director of data and analytics.

French software firm Qosmos, which makes systems for monitoring data sent over the internet, has appointed Gilles d’Aramon as vice president of sales for the Americas, and of global business development. He was previously sales director at Cisco France.

Dan Pittman has been promoted from vice president to senior vice president of media at Fox Searchlight. He will be in charge of research, planning and buying for all theatrical marketing campaigns.

Database marketing agency Merkle has appointed Pete Mehr as chief strategy officer in its healthcare marketing practice, which aims to provide “data-driven marketing insight and strategy” to the firm’s healthcare and pharmaceutical clients.
