Leadership changes at Ipsos Australia

Heller most recently led the full-service end-to-end research practice of EY in Oceania, and had spent 11 years at the company after it acquired Sweeney Research in 2014 when he was managing director.
Wake oversaw three acquisitions during his tenure. He takes up the newly created role of Asia-Pacific audience measurement service line leader, based in Sydney.
Both appointments are effective immediately.
Kelly Beaver, global chief executive at Ipsos, said: “Australia is an important market for Ipsos and is well positioned for continued growth. Erik’s appointment gives us the leadership to build on that momentum locally, while Simon’s new regional role reflects the scale of opportunity we see in audience measurement across APEC. Together, these appointments strengthen our ability to grow with pace and create greater impact across the region.”
Hamish Munro, APEC chief executive at Ipsos, said: “Australia is entering its next phase of growth, while audience measurement represents a major opportunity for expansion across the region. These appointments position us to capitalise on both – helping us grow faster, innovate more effectively and create greater value for our clients.”
