New Apac leadership for Ipsos

Ipsos has brought Asia-Pacific and Greater China together under a single leadership structure.
Based in Beijing, Liu will lead the newly formed region in addition to his existing role as chair and chief executive of the company in Greater China, a position he has held since 2017. Prior to that, Liu held other leadership roles within Ipsos, including chief executive of Asia-Pacific between 2011 and 2016.
The appointment is part of Ipsos’ continuing efforts to simplify its organisation under the leadership of chief executive Kelly Beaver.
It follows the news last week that former Nielsen chief executive Mitch Barns is joining the Ipsos leadership team as chairman and chief executive, Americas.
Beaver said: "I am delighted to announce Lifeng’s expanded role. Lifeng has consistently applied his proven leadership to drive significant progress for our business. These changes reflect our commitment to building a stronger, more connected Ipsos that is better positioned to execute our Horizons strategy, accelerate growth, and serve our clients consistently."
Lifeng Liu added: "I am honored to lead the newly unified APAC region at such an exciting time for Ipsos. Bringing Asia Pacific and Greater China together presents a tremendous opportunity to build an even stronger organisation. Over the coming weeks, I look forward to spending time with leaders across the region to deepen our understanding of market priorities and client needs, and to work together to deliver exceptional value."
