UK— Opinionpanel Research has launched a panel of learners in further education, for the specific use of public sector bodies and agencies working on their behalf.
The Learner Panel will be operated by Opinionpanel and managed by the Young People’s Learning Agency (YPLA), a new body sponsored by the Department for Education. It has been co-funded by the YPLA, the Skills Funding Agency and the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.
The panel comprises 10,000 current students at all levels of further education, with members profiled on characteristics including age, ethnicity, course, attainment and financial assistance received.
Opinionpanel also runs panels of prospective, current and past students at universities, which are available for use by all clients.
