MetrixLab appoints president for US
Langeveld (pictured) takes up the newly created role today ( 4 December), based in MetrixLab’s office in Norwalk, Connecticut.
He joins from Kantar North America, where he served as executive vice-president. Prior to that, he held the role of chief executive of Affectiva for five years. Other previous experience includes Nielsen and IBM.
Langeveld will be responsible for the development and execution of the US business vision and strategy, and the integration of MetrixLab with Acturus, which was acquired by MetrixLab parent company Macromill earlier in the year. He will report to Jan Willem Gerritsen, executive officer at MetrixLab.
Commenting on the appointment, Gerritsen said: “The US is a crucial market for MetrixLab, and we are at a pivotal time in our history here. The acquisition of Acturus has presented our rapidly growing US business with more opportunities for expansion. We need an exceptional individual with the vision, expertise and commitment to lead our US team to achieve our growth objectives.”
