MetrixLab appoints Middle East and Africa MD

THE NETHERLANDS – Digital research agency MetrixLab has announced the appointment of Danny Mendonca to the newly created role of managing director for the Middle East and Africa (MEA).

Mendonca (pictured) joins the company from Nielsen, where he was most recently regional innovation leader for the MEA region. He will be based in Dubai, where MetrixLab plans to open an office. 

He will report to Thijs Elias, executive vice-president, global growth. Elias says: “Danny is passionate about innovation and the central role it has in regenerating and maximising brands. With Danny as part of our team in MEA, I am certain there are exciting times ahead for us in the region.”

The company has also expanded its UK senior team with the appointment of four new client directors: Serena van Tol, previously of Kantar Millward Brown; Aditya Sinha, who has joined from Ipsos; Gavin Sugden, formerly of GfK; and Nahla Emms, who has joined the company from Research Now.
