MetrixLab makes Thijs Elias CEO
The position has been filled by Scott Ernst, Macromill’s representative executive officer and global CEO on an interim basis since the start of the year, when Jan Willem Gerritsen stepped down.
Gerritsen co-founded MetrixLab in 1999 and played a key role in integrating MetrixLab and Macromill following their merger in 2014.
Elias (pictured) has been with the company since 2000, most recently as executive vice-president of global development. One of the company’s earliest recruits, he has developed relationships with the company’s major multinational clients during this time.
He has been involved in expanding the company’s global footprint, opening more than 10 new markets during his tenure.
Ernst said: “Thijs is the perfect candidate to assume the responsibilities of CEO of MetrixLab. He has worked for the company for almost two decades, and in that time he’s proven his commercial acumen, developed an excellent understanding of MetrixLab’s business and earned the admiration of the team, so I’m confident he is the right person to ensure healthy business growth in the future.”
