Lumi Mobile names director of business development

US — Mobile research specialist Lumi Mobile has appointed Kimberly White as director of business development.

White joins from MarketSight, a provider of web-based market research analysis software, where she was director of sales.

Earlier in her career, she was director of business development for EFG Research, a subsidiary of Paris-based MV2 and EFG Worldwide, following senior roles in client development and sales at Schlesinger Associates and Eastern Research Services.

In her new role at Lumi, White will focus on developing new and existing client accounts. She will be based in New York, but will work closely with Lumi’s offices in the UK, US, Hong Kong and South Africa.

Lumi’s chief marketing executive Dan Foreman said: “This is a very important hire as we extend our reach into the global research industry with ever more compelling technology. The business is at a point where we are ready to scale and take our services to the next level – Kim is the right person to make it happen.”
