Ipsos hires TNS’s Marie Lee as Philippines MD

PHILIPPINES — Ipsos has appointed Marie Lee (pictured) as its new managing director in the Philippines, replacing Carole Sarthou who moves to Nielsen as head of media research.

Sarthou worked for Synovate for more than a decade and remained with the business after its 2011 acquisition by Ipsos.

Her successor at Ipsos, Lee, joins from TNS where she has worked for 18 years in a variety of roles, including research director and general manager of the custom research and Worldpanel business in the Philippines, Asia Pacific key account director and vice-president in the US.

Earlier in her career Lee worked clientside for Colgate-Palmolive and J&J Asia.
