Global CFO named at Fifty5Blue

UK – Media research business Fifty5Blue has confirmed Giles Richardson as permanent global chief financial officer.

Richardson (pictured) joined Fifty5Blue, then Kantar Media, in 2012 as chief financial officer of the audience measurement division.

This was followed by a spell with Kantar Media UK & Ireland and global product, and then as director of group finance at Kantar Media and interim chief financial officer.

Richardson has experience leading both domestic and international finance teams, working on mergers and acquisitions and is a chartered accountant.

Fifty5Blue was sold by Kantar Group and Bain Capital to HIG Capital in August 2025.

Patrick Béhar, global chief executive at Fifty5Blue, said: “Giles has led the finance organisation in various capacities and is the best choice to drive our finance team as we continue our journey as a standalone company under HIG Capital ownership, and invest ambitiously in our future.”
