Sago names new president

Courtright joined Sago last year as chief strategy officer, and in her new role will take on expanded responsibilities for leading the company’s strategic growth, operational execution and market leadership efforts.
Prior to joining Sago, Courtright led the US market research body the Insights Association for almost six years, following spells working at Dynata and Research Now.
Steve Schlesinger, chief executive officer at Sago, said: “Melanie’s impact on our business has been tremendous. She sharpened our strategic focus in a remarkably short period of time and helped drive meaningful progress across the company. From day one, her influence as a leader stood out.
“She brings contagious energy to everything she does, treats everyone like they’re her client, and consistently demonstrates an unwavering commitment to our people, our customers and our future. This promotion reflects her significant contributions to Sago and the confidence I have in her expertise.”
Courtright added: “I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to take on this role and even more excited about what we will accomplish together.
“I’m proud to be part of this team, and I’m energised by the opportunity to build on our strengths, embrace what’s changing and shape the next chapter of Sago together.”
