In the new position, Fernandes (pictured) has a remit to strengthen how the company supports its client base.

Based in London, he will oversee the integration of account management, client partnerships and research management and will also lead Delineate’s thought leadership agenda and its development of AI-led analytics capabilities.

Fernandes was most recently client experience director at Mesh Experience. He began his career at Research International (now part of Kantar) before holding senior marketing and insights roles at brands including LG and Expedia Group, where he was global director of communications strategy and planning.

James Turner, founder and chief executive, Delineate, said: “Louis’ experience sits at the intersection of insights, strategy, and client leadership, exactly where our clients need us to be. His appointment reflects our ambition to continue evolving how we partner with clients.”

Delineate has also made several internal promotions.

The company has appointed Derick Lewes-Gale as vice-president, account management, where he will lead onboarding and customer success across key client relationships.

Laura Mainwaring has been promoted to senior account manager and Francisco De La Torre has been promoted to vice-president, research management.

Delineate has offices in Wales, London and New York. Through the promotions, the company said it is looking to boost the strength, depth and coordination of its client teams globally.

Turner said: “We are proud to develop talent from within while also bringing in external expertise to strengthen our leadership. Together, these changes position us strongly for the next phase of Delineate’s growth and ensure we remain closely aligned with our clients’ evolving needs.”
