Decibel Insight hires CRO

US & UK – Digital experience analytics firm Decibel Insight has appointed Even Walser from Brandwatch as chief revenue officer. 

Walser joins after three years with the social intelligence company, where he most recently held the role of executive vice-president of EMEA revenue. Prior to that, he led commercial for social listening technology company Topsy and helped to found US electronic medical record provider Practice Fusion.

Decibel Insight’s technology uses machine learning to process behavioural metrics such as mouse movements and device rotations. The company’s clients include Lego, General Motors and British Airways.

The company recently raised $9m Series A investment, opened a new office in San Francisco, and has made several appointments to support its growth, including Brian Bullock as vice-president of US sales.

Decibel Insight chief executive and founder Ben Harris said: “[Walser’s] 20 years of experience will help us to achieve our goal of partnering with brands on the brink of digital transformation.”
