Lund will focus on growing the company’s customer base and operations, and will also manage Decibel’s fundraising efforts and financial reporting.
Prior to his appointment at Decibel, Lund was chief financial officer, corporate development officer and revenue operations lead at conversational artificial intelligence business Conversica, where he secured financing of $70m.
Verifone Mobile Money, DemandTec and McKesson are also among Lund’s previous employers. At DemandTec, Lund helped oversee an initial public offering (IPO) and the $500m sale of the company to IBM.
Earlier this year Decibel closed a $40m Series B funding round, bringing the company’s total funding to $54m. The firm runs a digital experience analytics tool, which captures and quantifies unique experience data to pinpoint problem areas on brands’ websites and apps.
Ben Harris, co-founder and chief executive of Decibel, said: “Jason’s appointment demonstrates our dedication to continuing financial and operational growth.
“On the heels of our latest investment round and continued customer success, Jason’s seasoned experience couldn’t come at a better time in our evolution as a company.”
