Decibel secures $17m investment

UK & US – Digital experience company Decibel has raised $17m in Series B funding and plans to expand its presence in Europe and North America.

Decibel’s platform captures experience data to measure digital customer experience and identify problems on brands’ websites and apps. It is used by companies including Sony and Toyota.

Launched in 2014, the company is headquartered in London and has staff in Boston, San Francisco, Denver, Madrid and Berlin.

The round was led by Draper Esprit alongside existing investors Eight Road Ventures and John Simon via Ventureforgood.

Nicola McClafferty, investment director, Draper Esprit, said: “We have been really impressed with the growth in the business, across EMEA and the US, over the last couple of years and the impact that Decibel is delivering to its customers, not just in marketing but across functions including customer service, engineering and product.”
