Cornelius leaves Nielsen Australia in restructure

AUSTRALIA— Nielsen Media’s Australian managing director Peter Cornelius has left the company after a restructure saw Chris Percy take the helm.

Nielsen has merged its consumer and media operations to become a ‘One Nielsen’ business, under the leadership of Percy who was previously boss of the consumer arm.

Cornelius joined Nielsen in 2002 as managing director of the Asia Pacific region, where he oversaw a portfolio of services that included radio audience measurement and surveys of advertising expenditure. He moved to his latest role in March last year.

Before joining Nielsen Cornelius was managing director at Zenith Media. He also worked as media director at media agency George Patterson Bates.
