Williams (pictured), who was also chief revenue officer at Voxpopmen and is a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) scale-up expert, will head up commercial straetgy at The Insights Family in his new role.

The appointment marks the latest senior appointment at The insights Group, finalising a new structure.

The new structure sees Clive Maudsley move to the role of chief operating officer, with founder Nick Richardson stepping down as CEO and moving to chief strategy officer while former BBC executive Rachel Bardill becomes SVP marketing & partnerships.

Richardson said he first met Williams in 2021 and that they had a shared vision for the future of the business.

He added: “Over the last 5 years we have transitioned from a start-up to a scale-up, and now we need to evolve into a high performance, fast-growth organisation which further establishes itself as the global leader through international expansion.”

Williams said: “What Nick and the team have built so far is adding great value to an ever-growing global client base. I look forward to working with the team here to develop our next growth strategies, and to contribute to achieving the company’s strategy of transforming how organisations leverage research, data & insight.”

In other changes, The Insights Family has promoted Tanya Sarakinis from commercial director to SVP business development and George Sarakinis who becomes SVP client growth, having previously held the role of client strategy director.
