Y&R forms tech and business brands practice
The specialised division will be led by Joe Rivas, currently global client leader of Dell, who will now also be president, Y&R technology and business.
The new practice will collaborate with teams in Y&R and across WPP’s global network to give clients integrated B2B and B2C comms. Its formation follows that of Y&R’s healthcare practice established last year.
The tech and business practice will offer proprietary tools including B2B brand analysis that exists within BAV (BrandAsset Valuator) and social listening insights on the content behaviours of business decision makers along with other WPP resources.
David Sable, global CEO, said: “After seeing the value our healthcare practice has for clients, we see a like opportunity to offer business and technology brands the same integrated approach.”
