Voxpopme expands AI moderation
The update adds ‘smart probing’, which will allow researchers to have more control over how the AI moderator follows up with participants.
The new functionality includes the ability to trigger probes based on specific keywords or emotional cues.
In other changes, teams can now also use the platform to present visual stimulus, such as ad concepts or product imagery, during interviews, which the company said would mean AI moderation could be used for more use cases.
Voxpopme launched the AI moderation in June 2025, and researchers use it to conduct asynchronous video interviews.
Andy Barraclough, chief executive and founder of Voxpopme (pictured), said the changes would let researchers “shape how interviews unfold and what gets explored”.
