uSamp promotes two and appoints chief financial officer

US— Online panel firm uSamp has appointed a new chief financial officer and promoted two members of staff to more senior roles.

John Woolard is CFO, while Dave Gaston and Melanie Courtright (pictured top) have been promoted to regional vice president of survey solutions and senior vice president of client services respectively.

Woolard joins from financial strategy firm DLC, where he served as senior consultant having spent time as a consultant with Hudson Pacific Properties and as CFO at MGA Entertainment before that.

Gaston joined the company in 2009 having previously worked for Greenfield Online, Yankelovich Partners and NFO. He was a senior director at uSamp prior to his promotion, while Courtright was vice president of marketing at DMS Insights before its acquisition by uSamp earlier this year.

USamp co-founder and CEO Matt Dusig (picturedbottom) said: “We’ve been investing steadily in our next-generation sampling platform and in hiring for strategic areas of our business, particularly in the US.”
