Urban Airship expands leadership team

US – Mobile customer engagement company Urban Airship has made two senior appointments in sales and product marketing.

The company has appointed Jessica Mattson (pictured) as vice-president of sales for the Americas, leading the expansion of the company’s sales team. Previously vice-president of high tech for SAP, Mattson will report to Eric Holman, senior vice-president of worldwide sales.

Simone Kriz has also joined as Urban Airship in the role of vice-president of product marketing. Kriz will be responsible for expanding the product marketing team, leading market positioning, product messaging and go-to-market strategy. She will report to senior vice-president of marketing Mike Stone. Kriz was most recently senior director of product marketing at Salesforce.

Headquartered in Portland, Oregon, Urban Airship’s services include mobile analytics and customer intelligence. The company raised $25m in Series F funding earlier this year.
