Talking Medicines appoints first US-based employee

UK/US – Artificial intelligence (AI) patient intelligence business Talking Medicines has named Mike Strassberg as chief customer officer.

Strassberg (pictured) is the Scottish firm’s first US-based appointment and will be tasked with expanding Talking Medicines’ presence in the country.

Before joining Talking Medicines, Strassberg led sales and marketing at Eversana Intouch B2D for three years, and has 30 years of experience in the health and life sciences industry.

Strassberg will be based in New York and will be charged with driving growth, building new relationships with clients and help Talking Medicines establish its AI platform PatientMetRx.

Talking Medicines is an AI-driven patient experience firm based in Glasgow which uses its Patient MetRx data platform to help pharmaceutical marketing teams to understand real world patient experience at a medicine level.

Jo Halliday, co-founder and chief executive at Talking Medicines, said: “Mike will be the voice of our customers, providing a consistent and seamless experience, driving growth, establishing new relationships, managing current accounts, and building a global customer-centric organisation.

“With extensive experience in the sector, Mike will open doors for us and continue to expand our network. I am looking forward to collaborating closely with him as we enter an exciting phase in the growth of the business.”
