US— Private equity firm Symphony Technology Group (STG) has acquired Source Healthcare Analytics from information services group Wolters Kluwer.
Source will be combined with STG’s pharma market research company ImpactRX, which acquired AlphaDetail and TargetRX last year to form Symphony Health Solutions. Within this group, Source will be focused on providing analytics for life science manufacturers, payers and providers.
STG said that it plans to integrate the companies within the healthcare group “over time” with the aim of offering joint value propositions for clients. Bob Jansen and Michelle Woker will remain with Source as president of commercial and president of operations respectively.
Woker (pictured) said: “Bringing together Source’s secondary data assets with ImpactRx’s proprietary syndicated data set and analytical and therapeutic expertise will enable our combined new company to deliver the comprehensive, multi-channel solutions our clients need.”
