US – Social media analytics company Socialbakers has released its US Election Social Scoreboard so users can monitor social media conversations on the presidential candidates.
Users can choose and compare the Republican and Democratic party’s candidates for president, Trump and Clinton, along with their spouses Melania Trump and Bill Clinton, and the two potential first daughters, Ivanka Trump and Chelsea Clinton.
Social media has been a core part of both camps’ media strategy and the tool analyses social interactions, posts per day and total audience size of each candidate as well as giving real-time updates on the best performing social posts around the debate.
Robert Lang, CEO, Socialbakers, said: “Politicians have learned that the social-first approach allows them to get real-time feedback, both positive and negative, from supporters and potential voters, and to engage a much broader audience than merely using traditional channels.”
A study by Socialbakers shows that Clinton is falling behind Trump on Social Media.
