SMG Insight hires Eddleston

UK – YouGov’s sports and sponsorship division, SMG Insight, has appointed Sara Eddleston as its head of consumer insight.

Eddleston was consumer insight manager at Sodexo for the past four years.

Her appointment is part of the business’s expansion which is taking it into new global markets and extending its client portfolio.

Frank Saez, founder and managing director of SMG Insight, said: “Following several senior appointments to our leadership team over the past 12 months, Sara’s post is a further indication of SMG Insight’s rapid global expansion as we build on our solid track record of in-depth consultancy and leading-edge media and consumer research techniques.”

Eddleston added: “Having worked with SMG Insight over the past few years, I have been greatly impressed by it flexible and innovative approach to consumer research within the sporting arena.”
