Schlesinger and M/A/R/C fund new young professionals grant

US — Schlesinger and M/A/R/C are funding a new young professionals grant.

Steve Schlesinger, CEO of Schlesinger Associates and Merrill Dubrow, CEO of M/A/R/C Research (both pictured), have collaborated with the Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA) to introduce and fund the Young Professionals Grant.

The grant is available to individuals aged 35 and younger. To qualify, a researcher’s primary professional role must consist of designing, conducting and analysing qualitative research. Applicants can also be in training to conduct these activities. The grant committee will offer ten the opportunity to attend the 2014 QRCA annual conference in New Orleans on October 15-17.

“Merrill and I are very passionate about the future direction of our industry and supporting the next generation of market researchers,” said Schlesinger.

Dubrow added: “We are therefore excited to be providing young professionals with this opportunity to engage with the industry and develop their expertise. We are extremely grateful to the QRCA for making the YPG happen.”
