Sapio Research becomes a B Corp

B Corp Certification is assessed by not-for-profit B Lab and determines whether an organisation meets standards set around social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
Areas covered by the assessment include practices around governance, workers, community, the environment and customers, with an overall focus on a company’s commitment to goals that go beyond shareholder value.
A number of other market research agencies have become B Corps in recent years, including DJS Research, Honeycomb Strategy, Firefish Group and The Mackman Group.
There are more than 2,600 companies certified as B Corps in the UK, and around 10,000 globally.
Sapio Research is based in the UK and works across 130 countries, focused on research in areas such as business-to-business and technology.
Jessica Bunce, chief operating officer at Sapio Research, said: “We’ve taken our time to ensure we are following through on policies and each action we have taken is aligned with our own values and mission, as well as those of B Lab.
