DJS Research becomes B Corp certified

DJS Research has offices in Stockport and Leeds and a network of remote-working staff across the UK and internationally.
The company became employee-owned in 2021, and since then, has used the B Impact Assessment online tool as a framework to support its staff and formalise its operating approach.
To become a B Corporation (B Corp), businesses must meet targets in socially and environmentally responsible practices in five areas: governance, workers, community, environment and customers.
Once a company has been certified by non-profit organisation B Lab UK, the business must legally commit to maintain the standards by amending its articles of association. B Corps must recertify every three years.
There are over 2,600 companies certified as B Corps in the UK, and around 10,000 globally.
Al Gleed, managing director, DJS Research, said: “For us, B Corp certification provides an external framework that helps hold us to account and ensures our commitments are embedded in how we operate day to day.
“Alongside this, we’ve continued to prioritise research that delivers positive impact – particularly in areas such as public services, regulation, healthcare, culture and vulnerable audiences – where robust insight can support better outcomes for people and communities.”
