Sheldrake is based in the UK and the appointment marks the company’s first office in Europe.

Before joining Qualbids, Sheldrake was at online sample provider Sample Junction, which he joined in 2024, and in 2017 was named sales director, Europe, Middle East and Africa at US data collection and fieldwork services firm Opinions LTD.

Other prior roles include opening a UK office for Japanese research and online panel provider GMO Research in 2011.

Qualbids is led by US-based Tim Tauber, and provides fieldwork solutions in the qualitative research area across the US, Canada and beyond.

The company specialises in business-to-consumer, as well as selective business-to-business and healthcare segments.

A spokesperson for Qualbids said Sheldrake’s appointment “signifies a commitment to strengthening our sales presence not only in Europe, but globally – leveraging Jonathan’s deep experience across North America and Asia”.
