Bournelli (pictured) joined the business on 1st August and will lead NIQ’s global mobile networks team and report directly to Julian Baldwin, president, global tech & durables at NIQ.

The appointment comes as NIQ plans to expand its global tech and durables strategy, with a focus on broadening coverage in key telecom markets.

Bournelli will be responsible for developing and executing growth initiatives across the mobile networks channel.

Bournelli was most recently global telecom sector practice lead at Bain & Company where she led international projects in corporate strategy and telecom innovation. Prior to that, she held roles including corporate strategy manager at Proximus.

NIQ works with around 115 mobile network operators across 35 countries on their market intelligence, including market measurement, brand health tracking and consumer and market landscape studies.

Julian Baldwin, president, global tech and durables at NIQ, said: “With her strategic expertise and deep industry knowledge, Anastasia Bournelli will help our partners translate data into action. Our continued investment in this space reflects our commitment to being a trusted, long-term partner to the industry. We’re excited to continue this and further support our partners in key areas such as convergence.”
