New McKinsey/SAP ‘Value Finder’ AI tool identifies new growth opportunities

US – McKinsey and SAP have launched a new AI-powered capability, ‘Value Finder’, which has already helped international businesses identify ways in which they can access hundreds of millions of dollars in value.

Value Finder rapidly analyses and prioritises thousands of potential process-optimisation opportunities for businesses. It captures measurable productivity growth and asset efficiency benefits enabled by SAP S/4HANA, which is SAP’s enterprise resource planning software for large enterprises.

The tool analyses thousands of value levers, hundreds of industry benchmarks, and trends to enable rapid, precise, and actionable assessments of business-process improvements.

It has already been deployed successfully at several companies, including a global agribusiness company where it uncovered over $100 million in process-optimisation opportunities. 

It has also been used to aid chemicals distribution company Brenntag, where it identified value potential that was five times that of the original business case.
