US – Data quality business Rep Data has expanded Steven Snell’s role as chief research officer and appointed Jay Popovich as senior vice-president of sales.

The changes to Snell’s role will see him take on research leadership across areas such as in-survey data cleaning, research technology and research services.

The expansion of Snell’s role follows several acquisitions by Rep Data in recent months, specifically the deals for ReDem, SightX and Owl Solutions.

Popovich will support the company’s commercial leadership in his new role, having previously been chief revenue officer at Panoplai, following a seven-year spell at Lucid.

Snell said that Rep Data had added a “range of technology, research expertise and talent over the past several months”, adding that “these combined capabilities enable us to push forward a quality-first approach while preserving or even accelerating speed to insight”.
