New CSA president to pursue Bolloré tie-ups

Europe News

FRANCE— Research agency CSA has hired Bernard Sananes, former director general of Euro RSCG C&O, as its new president, with a remit to build partnerships with other companies in the Bolloré Group.

Vincent Bolloré, who has owned CSA since 2008, is also the chairman and largest shareholder of Euro RSCG’s parent company Havas, and holds minority stakes in Aegis (which owns Synovate) and Harris Interactive.

CSA said Sananes’ appointment demonstrates the Bolloré Group’s determination to “take the next step” in the research sector. His remit will include strengthening “synergies” with other companies in the Bolloré and Havas groups which are active in research, as well as promoting innovation and strengthening the firm’s strategic analysis and consulting activities.
