New CEO at Savanta
Petersen succeeds Vin DeRobertis, who has held the role of global chief executive on an interim basis since Roger Perowne left the business last year.
Formerly president and chief executive at private-equity backed tour operator SmarTours and chief executive of Time Out Digital, Petersen has also held various board director positions for public and private companies.
She was most recently chief marketing officer at travel booking company Busbud.
DeRobertis will continue in his role as chief executive of the Americas at Savanta. He is also chair of Clariti, the data collection business launched by Savanta earlier this year.
Jonathan Peachey, chief operating officer at Savanta’s parent company Next15, said: "We are delighted to welcome Christine to Savanta and the Next15 Group. Her visionary leadership and proven track record in organisational growth and implementing successful digital strategies make her the ideal choice to guide Savanta through its next exciting chapter."
Petersen said: "I am honoured to join Savanta and look forward to working with our talented global team to build upon the company’s strong foundation and heritage, to drive innovation, and deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients."
