UK – Consumer research agency MMR has opened an office in Brazil, expanding its operations into South and Central America.
Based in Sao Paulo, the new operation will be led by Ana Maria Almeida and Carlos Chiba. Both join MMR from food and beverages company BRF, where they worked in consumer insights.
The expansion into the Latin America region adds to MMR’s global operations, which covers the UK, US, China, Singapore, South Africa and India.
Mat Lintern, global managing director at MMR, said the Brazil office has been opened in response to client demand from international clients. He said: "We’re lucky to have two highly ambitious, intelligent and adaptable people to set-up and grow the operation. They’ll be shaping a proposition that works for the local market, blending MMR’s sensory branding solutions with our agile toolkit.
"We believe this will create a very exciting and accessible range of solutions for both new and existing clients in Brazil and beyond."
The move follows the Oxford-based company’s recent acquisition of creative video agency Ideal Insight.
