Medimix International opens in the Philippines

PHILIPPINES— Healthcare research agency Medimix International has opened a back office facility in Bacolod.

The firm said it plans to eventually house 25 staff in the centre, including physicians and nurses for medical analysis work, a project management team made up of marketing graduates and a software development team.

To support recruitment efforts, Medimix has partnered with local universities who will provide the firm with qualified, English-speaking employees.

As well as English, the Philippines office will offer services in French and Spanish and support languages such as Japanese and Mandarin.

CEO Henry Gazay (pictured) said: “This new team will complement our organisation extremely well and expand our skills and capabilities in a lot of different areas, including medical, marketing and technical. Their support and the cultural insights they bring will be vital to sustain our expansion in Asia, as well as in the new fields of social media and Web 2.0 marketing.”
