US— Customer research agency Market Probe has promoted Saji Kumar to the position of managing director for the Asia Pacific region.
Kumar (pictured) joined the firm in 2010 as senior vice president following spells with Ipsos in Australia and chief operating officer at MacGroup in the US.
He also served as VP of client services at TNS in the US and was a director at Millward Brown.
Kumar said: “As the Asia Pacific region continues to grow in scale and economic importance, I am very confident of our ability to deliver the research insights that our clients in the financial, telecoms, technology, travel and tourism and automotive industries will need to stay ahead of the game and continue to build market share.”
He replaces Roger Thomas, who has left the company.
