Macromill launches medical research joint venture

UK/ JAPAN — Market research technology company Macromill and healthcare membership portal CareNet have announced a new joint venture.

The joint venture company, Macromill-CareNet, will specialise in the provision of market research in the medical field. It will be led by chairman, Sekiguchi NobuYasushi, and president, Yoshiro Morohashi, with offices in Tokyo.

CareNet operates a membership portal where doctors and healthcare workers can take part in research, representing a member panel of more than 12 million. It provides sales and marketing support to pharmaceutical companies in Japan.

Macromill has recently merged with MetrixLab and is a global provider of consumer insights and marketing analytics.
