US – Data and insights marketing services company LRW Group has acquired strategic comms firm Karma Agency as it looks to strengthen its insights activation.
Karma Agency will operate under Tailwind Capital-backed LRW Group’s action division following the acquisition, which is LRW’s fifth within the last two years as part of a group strategy to build an integrated marketing offer.
Founded in 1999, Karma Agency specialises in brand management, marketing and public relations. Clients include the New York Philharmonic, Nike and Penn Medicine.
The agency will continue to operate from its Philadelphia headquarters. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Tom Bernthal, president of LRW Group Action Division, said: “Adding Karma to our activation team creates immediate value for our clients and our clients’ stakeholders. Whether it’s bringing insights to life through a creative campaign or elevating awareness of a brand through public relations and thought leadership, Karma’s intellectual and creative agility will deliver undeniable impact.”

LRW Group recently acquired research and strategy consultancy Greenberg Strategy, after buying visual communications agency Killer at the start of 2019.
